The organizational learning orientation and its effect on the performance of the colombian MSMEs

Abstract


The objective of this research is to analyze empirically how learning orientation impacts the performance of companies. To determine this, a study with 403 MSMEs in different cities of Colombia was conducted. The results obtained by multiple linear regressions show a highly significant and positive effect on the relationship under study, which has important implications for employers, academia, and government, because show that a management style that encourages the organization practices as divergence, the generation of new ideas, risk-taking, knowledge sharing, cooperation agreements with universities and other companies, experimentation and continuous changes, generate better organizational performance.
